More cash for community grants

An additional round of community grants are to be made available in Newtown.
The town council has announced that it has a surplus of money in its Community Fund budget for 2021/2022.
"Newtown & Llanllwchaiarn Town Council invite applications from local organisations who could be able to receive a community funding grant up to £1000 to deliver local activities in Newtown," said a statement.
"To address a surplus in the Community Fund 2021/22 budget, an additional round of the Community Fund is now open for applications."
Local community groups and organisations can apply for funding towards projects that benefit the community.
Further information and criteria of the funding can be found on the Town Council’s website: https://newtown.org.uk/community-fund-grant
Application forward can be downloaded from the website and once completed should be submitted to: enquiries@newtown.org.uk
For your application to be considered, all paperwork needs to be received by 12pm midnight Monday 31st January 2022.
