Uncut roadside verges are causing a danger to motorists

Town councillors are to question a Powys highways chief about road safety issues caused by uncut roadside verges.

On Monday, Newtown Town Council will discuss the matter with the Portfolio Holder for Highways at Powys County Council along with the Head of Hghways, Transport and Recycling.

A number of town councillors have raised concerns about the danger caused to motorists in the area from uncut verges. They claim it causes an obstruction to drivers when trying to turn out of junctions.
