12/07/2021 @ 09:29
Newtown residents thinking about starting a business are being offered advice through an employment and business support drop-in session.

The Prime Cymru session will be held on Wednesday, 28th July at 11-12pm on Microsoft Teams. Members of the team will be there to answer any questions about their free, one-to-one support.

The meeting is available to anyone over 25 and out of work or under the threat of redundancy. To register for the session and receive the access link, email kayleigh@primecymru.co.uk.

Janet Davies, Development Officer for North Powys, said: “It’s been a hard year for everyone and many people are looking for work or thinking about starting their own business. We’re offering this session to let people know that we’re here to help them get back on track – come along for an informal chat.”

Prime Cymru is a Trusted Charity founded by HRH The Prince of Wales. They have a dedicated team of experts who focus on building clients’ confidence, improving IT skills, developing CVs, refining interview techniques and facilitating business start-ups with bespoke mentoring.

You can also complete free qualifications with PRIME Cymru, including First Aid, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Control to Substances Hazardous to Health. In response to the pandemic, they also offer a New Ways of Working course, which covers online interviews and working from home.
