Get your first Covid-19 vaccination today

Residents who have not had their first Covid-19 vaccination are being urged to get it today as part of a 'no appointment needed' session at the Maldwyn Leisure Centre.

Between 8.30am and 4.30pm today, anyone who has not had their first vaccination dose can attend the national vaccination centre.

It comes as positive Covid-19 cases are on the increase in the area following a spike last weekend.

Numerous businesses have been hit as staff have been told by Track and Trace to self-isolate.

Many customers of the recently opened 23 Social in Broad Street on Friday and Saturday have been contacted.

Residents are also being urged to get a Covid-19 test, even if they don't have symptoms.

Anyone without symptoms can attend the Park Street Day Centre for a test as many times as they want.

Anyone with symptoms should make an appointment through the NHS testing site and not attend the Park Street Day Centre.
