Wellbeing consultation ends in a week

05/07/2021 @ 09:05
Newtown residents have just a week to have their say on a wellbeing plan for the area.

The ‘Living in Powys’ engagement exercise, which has been running since Tuesday, 8 June, closes at midnight on Sunday, 11 July.

It is being run by Powys County Council to help inform and develop its wellbeing plan for the area.

Cllr Rosemarie Harris, Chair of Powys Public Service Board (PSB) said: “Under the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act, Powys PSB is responsible for developing a local Well-being Assessment and Well-being Plan for the area and updating that plan every five years.

“We are keen to hear from residents across the county to ensure that we can understand the pressures our communities are facing so that we can use the information from this engagement exercise, along with other sources of data, to inform our next well-being plan for Powys.”
