Town councillors to consider re-opening service point

A risk assessment is to be held into re-opening Newtown Town Council's public service point and the Robert Owen Museum.

The town council has closed its offices to the public during the coronavirus situation but has been considering ways to re-open the areas within Brisco House at The Cross in the town centre.

The council's Resources Committee will consider a report by the Town Clerk it a meeting today. In it he recommends a risk assessment of opening both areas.
