Local fire officer raises charity cash on Snowdon challenge

15/06/2021 @ 07:31
Newtown fire officer Dave Latham managed to reach the summit of Snowdon 42 times during his charity walk over the weekend.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Station Manager Dave and a team of supporters climbed Snowdon as many times as they could over a 24 hour period.

They walked a total of 43 miles and have so far raised £1,540.

Thanking the team, he said: "You have all been part of an amazing 24hrs that I will never forget, each achieving your own personal goals and succeeding in how many 'Snowdon Summits' you could complete in 24hrs. Each also contributing to each other's success and drive to keep going."
