Car collides with Barclays Bank

Police are investigating after a car collided with Barclays Bank at The Cross in Newtown town centre.

The accident happened earlier this morning. MyNewtown reader Nicola Gillies caught the incident after it happened with ambulance and police personnel on scene.

It is understood the vehicle struck brickwork on the building and did not damage the frontage of the bank.
