'Bee' thankful

Two Newtown wildlife projects have received funding to help develop them.
The Vaynor Pond and the Rest and Bee Thankful projects have each received £500 grants from Powys County Council.
The projects, run by Open Newtown, have received the funding under the Powys Nature Partnership and Local Nature Partnerships Cymru.
In a report to Newtown Town Council's Services Committee, Open Newtown said the money will be used to pay for planters at the pond and a pollinators garden at the bee project.
