Counting begins for Senedd seat

Who will be the next Member of the Senedd for Montgomeryshire? That is the question being asked as counting begins for the seat in the Welsh Parliament elections.

Counting at Polling station in Newtown closed at 10pm last night. Unlike normal Senedd and UK elections, counting has been delayed until today due to Covid-19.

The results for Montgomeryshire and the Mid and West Wales regional seat are expected later today following counting at County Hall, Llandrindod Wells.

The ballots for the Dyfed Powys Police and Crime Commissioner won't be counted until Monday. Voting took place at the same time as the Senedd election.
