Circular economy to be discussed at Monty Hour

28/04/2021 @ 07:38
The circular economy of Mid Wales will be the subject of the last Monty Hour of April.

This evening the online series of events will hear from Jeremy Thorp of Circular Economy Mid Wales this evening online at 7pm.

"A Circular Economy is an economy where resources are re-used, recycled and repaired, minimising the amount of extraction and disposal, in contrast to our current “linear” economy of extract, manufacture and disposal," said Claire Weston of Monty Hour.

"Circular Economy Mid Wales is a new organisation based in Newtown bringing the circular economy into practice in Newtown. We have already diverted many tonnes from ending up in landfill through a partnership with Potters at the household waste site, but with many exciting plans for 2021. Find out more at Monty Hour."
