Digital Book of Condolences is opened

A digital book of condolences has been opened in Newtown following the death of HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.

Newtown Town Council has opened the book on its website where people can leave a message.

Within the pages of the book, you are invited to share your thoughts and messages in remembrance of HRH Prince Philip. Contributions to this book of Condolence will be shared with the Royal Family in due course.
 
To leave a message please register your name and email address – you  will be able to include your country which will display your national flag beside your name.

“It is with great sorrow that we learn of the death of the Duke of Edinburgh. The Town Council, on behalf of the residents of Newtown and Llanllwchaiarn, offer our sincere condolences to Her Majesty the Queen and the rest of the Royal Family at this sad time.”
