Town centre water refill on course to be installed

A public water refill is on order so that it can be installed in the town centre.

Newtown Town Council has ordered the refill station so that people can refill their water bottles for free when in the town centre.

Cllr Joy Jones told town councillors the refill station had been ordered and would be installed in the town centre.

The station is part of the town council's plans to cut the use of single use plastic bottles in the town.
