CCTV survey wants your view

A survey has begun into the investment made in Newtown CCTV system by the Dyfed Powys Police and Crime Commissioner.
The consultation was launched last month by the CCTV sub panel of the Dyfed Powys Police and Crime Panel into the 24 CCTV systems set up throughout the police force region.
The CCTV in Newtown was set up following pressure locally after a spate of assaults and other crimes in the town.
Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn set up funding for the system.
The public, businesses and others in Newtown have until 1 December to take part in the survey.
