Bike hub will provide hire, maintenance and courses

A bike hub is likely to be created at Newtown's mountain bike trail and BMX pump track.

Open Newtown is considering setting up the hub which would allow bike hire, maintenance and courses.

Stuart Owen of Open Newtown told town councillors of the plans this week.

It followed an update on the new facility which has received praise from users locally and visiting.

The trail was set up by Open Newtown as part of funding and a partnership between Newtown Town Council, the Lottery Community Fund and Sport Wales.
