Newtown children are set pumpkin challenge

Children throughout Newtown are being urged to take part in a Halloween challenge started by the town's Rainbows and Brownies.

The 1st Newtown Rainbows and 2nd Newtown Brownies want children to colour a pumpkin and put the artwork in the window of their homes.

"Because of the circuit break lockdown we are to remain in our household bubbles when we take exercise," said Cheryl Jarman, Unit Leader.

"The challenge is to take a walk in your local area and see how many pumpkin pictures you can count."
