CCTV for play park and bike pump track?

CCTV could be installed at Newtown's new adventure play park and BMX pump track.

Newtown Town Council, which is responsible for both sites, is considering installing cameras for security.

The play park was damaged several times by vandals before it opened last month. They also want to protect the pump track and bike trails.

The council's Services Committee will discuss the matter on Monday before making a recommendation to the full council later this month.
