Man seriously injured in crash

A man has been airlifted to hospital following a road accident between a lorry and a van.
A man in his 50s is in a critical.
"The A470 at Llanidloes remains closed both ways this evening as investigations continue. Two vehicles - an HGV lorry and a panel van - were involved in the collision, which was reported at 1.50pm," said a Dyfed Powys Police spokesperson.
"Fire service and paramedics also attended, and a man in his 50s was airlifted to hospital.
"Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to contact police on 101."
