Thieves steal car from dealership

Thieves broke into a local car dealership to steal the keys to a car before driving off in it.

Newtown Police said the Vauxhall Corsa car was parked in front of security barriers at Alun Roberts Car Sales in Tregynon when it was stolen between 9pm and 10pm on 23 August.

"The vehicle was parked in front of the barrier gates however to gain access to the keys the suspects have broken into the building via a rear fire door and also a side garage door," said PC Katherine Townsend.
