It's been 22 weeks, but the wait has been worth it for Newtown's Knit and Natter group.
The social group, which used to get together each month to knit and have a catch up, as well as raising hundreds of pounds for charity with various knitting products, met for the first time in the Town Hall grounds after 22 weeks without a meeting.
Social distancing measures were in place for the outdoor meeting.
"It was great to all meet up after such a long time apart. Delicious cupcakes were supplied by Jalna’s cafe," said Paula Roberts of the group.
"The rain held off right to the last minute. We will hopefully meet up again in September if the weather is kind to us."
