Taste Montgomery for yourself

Visitors can now not only visit Montgomery but actually taste the market town for themselves.

‘Taste’ is a new farm shop deli that was opened last week by the deputy Mayor of Montgomery to provide an outlet for the 30+ members of Taste Montgomery.

“Its purpose is to coordinate, enhance and promote what Montgomery and the locality has to offer,” said Philip Owens, Taste Montgomery’s Chairperson. “Particularly at this difficult time, the aim is to encourage more visitors to the area as well as offering the local population more diversity and choice.

“By working and cooperating with existing businesses, a more prosperous economy will result benefiting everyone.”

The Farm shop deli will open from 2pm-7:30pm and will be serving drinks and food during the evening, thereby opening more of the town’s attractions to visitors and locals alike.
