15-year-old seriously injured in quad bike accident

A 15-year-old person has been seriously injured after an a quad bike with three people on was involved in an accident on a road near Manafon.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the accident which happened on the B4390 between Manafon and Berriew at 6.55pm yesterday.

"It involved a Honda quad bike carrying three people and left a 15-year-old passenger with serious injuries," said a Dyfed Powys Police spokesperson.

"We don’t believe any other vehicles were involved but are appealing for any extra information that can help us establish the full circumstances around what happened.

"Anyone with any details or dash camera footage of the vehicle or incident are encouraged to contact PC 1169 White at Dyfed-Powys Police Serious Collision investigation unit on 101, quoting incident reference DP-20200806-326."
