Burglar disturbed entering property window

Police are investigating an attempted burglary in Park Street, Newtown in which a man entered a property through a window.

The man was disturbed while trying to enter the building.

The incident happened at approximately 10.30pm on Friday, 17th July.

"The suspect is described as approximately 5ft 9inches tall, of slim build and wearing a light grey hoody and carrying a dark coloured backpack," said a Newtown Police spokesperson.
