At a meeting of the town council's Economy and Environment Committee later today, councillors will receive an update from Cllr Richard Williams on the situation.
The improved signage is part of the town council's work to improve tourism and access into the town following the opening of the bypass last year.
It also comes after the operators of the railway station's travel and ticket office announced last month that they will not be re-opening following the Covid-19 outbreak.
Two automatic ticket machines will be installed at the station instead.
