Local Marie Curie branch's snipping good idea

Hairdressers and barbers in Newtown are being urged to auction off their first appointment when restrictions are lifted in aid of the Marie Curie charity.

The charity is hoping the demand for haircuts when the Coronavirus restrictions are lifted will help raise cash for them through the charity's local group.

"We can't wait to tame our lockdown locks and neither can our supporters. Can you raffle or auction one of your first available slots to raise money for Marie Curie?" said a statement.
