Newtown man denies rape charges

A Newtown man has pleaded not guilty to charges of raping a teenager.
Colin Robert Guntrip, 43, denied four counts of rape and not guilty to one count of sexual activity with a child when he appeared before magistrates.
The hearing heard the alleged offences took place between May and August 2014.
The matter was adjourned until July and Guntrip, of Ffordd Croesawdy, was granted bail.
