Man assaulted in Town Hall grounds

A man has been assaulted in Newtown town centre.
Police said a man was attacked in the grassed area by the side of the Town Hall park area.
"We are appealing for witnesses in relation to an assault on a male that has taken place on the grassed area next to Newtown Town Hall on the evening of Wednesday, 18 March at approximately 11.30pm," said PC Charlotte Jennings.
