Class of 66 reunion postponed

A reunion of the class of 66 at Newtown High School has been postponed.

The event, which would have marked the 65th birthday of those who were in the school year, had been due to take place on the 4 April.

One of the organisers, Julie Quin, said with the Conoravirus it was felt the event had to be postponed until 1 August as many people would have been travelling to attend.

The last reunion was 15 years ago.
