Newtown Outdoor Festival is confirmed for June this year.
Organisers are planning a range of events and activities focussed on the outdoors around Newtown between 5-7 June.
Activities confirmed so far include walking, a trek talk, navigation, cycling, Park Run, Scouts demonstrating outdoor skills, canoeing and kayaking, fishing, a Celidh, gardening and other events.
"The whole festival will be centred on the hub at Oriel Davies Gallery and all events will start from there," said organisers Walking Newtown.
"The festival is open to everyone. All daytime events are free. There is a charge of £5 per person for the ceilidh and voluntary donations to Wales Air Ambulance at the Trek Talk.
"Organized by Walking Newtown and our partners. This is an extended version of the successful 2019 Walking Festival."
The festival has set up a website at www.newtownoutdoorfestival.co.uk.
It is being supported by a range of parties from the town and nationally.
