High school's class of 66 plan 65th year reunion

Fifteen years since their last reunion the class of 1966 at Newtown High School are planning another reunion.

Organisers are hoping to get as many students from the year to the latest school reunion on 4 April, celebrating their 65th year.

The event will be held at The Monty Club in Broad Street at 7.30pm, with tickets costing £12.

One of the organisers, Julie Quin, said they hoped as many students from the year would get together again.

The last reunion was 15 years ago.

Tickets are available from The Monty Club, Dianne Thomas, Helen Williams, Glyn Vernon and Julie Quin.
