Businesses urged to have say on council budget

Businesses in Newtown are being invited to comment on Powys County Council's revenue budget.

The county council is inviting businesses to comment on the 2020/21 revenue budget as part of the consultation process.
 
Cabinet Member for Finance, Councillor Aled Davies said: “The budget is important for business throughout the county and by providing an opportunity for businesses to express their views no matter where they are based.”
 
Those who are interested are invited to visit the Council’s website: http://www.powys.gov.uk and click the link to Councils Committees and Meetings/Cabinet agenda 21st January 2020 or use the direct link: https://powys.moderngov.co.uk/ieListDocuments.aspx?CId=137&MId=5357&Ver=4
which will take you direct to the Cabinet papers with full details of the proposed Council`s budget.
 
All responses to the consultation should be in writing and addressed to the Head of Financial Services, Powys County Hall, Spa Road East, Llandrindod Wells, LD1 5LG by 18th February 2019.
