The future of Llanidloes' historic Old Market Hall is to be discussed at key public meeting next week.
Residents in Llanidloes interested in taking positive action to protect and preserve the building are being urged to attend a consultation event at the town's community centre on Thursday, 16 June.
Powys County Council, in conjunction with the Old Market Hall Committee and Llanidloes Town Council, has arranged the open
consultation event taking place between 2pm-8pm.
A spokesperson for Powys County Council said: "The event will allow those who want to take positive action to protect this listed building
to have their say. Suggestions of some possible options will be displayed for public comment and feedback but we will welcome and encourage alternative
views and ideas to be put forward on the day."
Following the event all feedback and suggestions from the day will be considered prior to a favoured proposal being presented.
