Festive services at Pentre Llifior Chapel

A Christmas carol service is to be held at Pentre Llifior Methodist Chapel between Bettws and Berriew next week.
The traditional candlelight service will take place on Tuesday, 17 December at 6.30pm.
"The service will include many favourite carols along with seasonal readings and a retiring collection will be made in support of the work of the Salvation Army," said a chapel spokesperson.
"Everyone is then asked to join us for festive refreshments which will be served afterwards in the Preacher's Stable opposite."
On Christmas Day at 10.30am a short, relaxed, informal service will be held lasting approximately 40 minutes.
Anyone is welcome to attend and is encouraged to bring along one unopened present so that they can open these together.
