Hustings to be staged in Newtown

Residents in Newtown will get the chance to question the four candidates standing for election in Montgomeryshire at the General Election.

Newtown Town Council has arranged the hustings at The Elephant and Castle for 6.30pm on Wednesday night.

Each of the candidates will speak before taking questions from the public.

Montgomery Town Council is hosting its hustings tonight at the Town Hall.

The candidates for Montgomeryshire are: Kishan Devani (Liberal Democrats), Kait Duerden (Labour), Gwyn Wigley Evans (Gwlad Gwlad) and Craig Williams (Conservatives).
