Public meeting to discuss next year's food festival

Businesses, residents and organisations are being invited to a public meeting next week that will discuss plans for next year's Newtown Food Festival.

The event, which took place in September this year at The Park and attracted hundreds of people, is planned to be held again in 2020.

But organisers want more people to be involved and have arranged a public meeting to gauge support.

Food producers, companies and organisers attend the event as well as hosting entertainment in the town over two days.

The meeting will be held at the Oriel Gallery in Back Lane on Thursday, 14 November at 7pm.
