Theatre to celebrate Golden Jubilee year with production

Newtown Amateur Dramatic Society is to start its Golden Jubilee year with a new production next month.

The society, which is based at the Powys Theatre in Canal Road, Newtown, is currently rehearsing for Noel Coward's 'Blithe Spirit'.

The production will be performed from Monday, 4 November to Saturday, 9 November at 7.45pm.

Tickets will be available from Oriel Gallery in Back Lane from 21 October (for Friends of the Theatre) and 28 October for the general public, or by telephoning 01686 623463 or Gillian on 07767 360372. 

The play is directed by Lesley Crowther, and the cast comprises:
