Family orienteering event to be held at Gregynog Hall

A family orienteering day is to be held near Newtown later this month.

The Mid Wales Orienteering Club and Powys Sport Development are hosting the event at Gregynog Hall, Tregynon, on Tuesday, 29 October.

There are a choice of courses for all ages and abilities with the event starting at 10.30am and courses available to start until 12.30pm

A white course is 1,720km and suitable for year three and four pupils. The yellow course is 1,980km and suitable for year five and six pupils, while the orange course is 3k.

It will cost £2 for adults and £1 for juniors, with a family ticket at £3.

Entrants can register and download the routes at a tent that will be set up outside the Hall.
