30/09/2019 @ 04:50
Space food is the subject of this month’s talk at Newtown Astronomy Society.

Russell Parry, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health, will talk about the food developed for astronauts and will have samples of food produced for the International Space Station.

Russell set up his own food business in 1995 and is also the author of food safety books and has appeared on television and radio as a food expert.

The talk will take place on Saturday, 12 October at 7pm in The Crypt at Newtown Catholic Church.

Full membership of the society costs £20 for 10 meetings a year or visitor entry at £3.50 per meeting.

Tony Cook will provide his monthly “sky update” at the end of the meeting.
