Crowdfunding campaign continues for James' funeral

Just over £1,000 has been raised so far in a crowdfunding campaign to help pay for the funeral of a Newtown father who died tragically.

James Jeffries, 40, was found dad in woodland near Garthowen last month after he went missing.

Becky Williams, a family friend, and the local community are trying to raise £2,000 to cover the cost of his funeral and so far a crowdfunding page has raised £1,020.

"Our community has been saddened by the news that James passed away. James has left behind a family who loved him dearly," said Becky Williams.

"James‘s death was unexpected, funeral burials are expensive for a young family. If you can help by donating as little or as much as possible to help fund his burial it would be greatly appreciated."
