A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital with life-changing injuries after an accident between Newtown and Llanidloes.
Police attended a collision between a motorbike and a tractor on the A489 between Newtown and Llanidloes at around 6.15pm on Thursday.
"The motorbike rider – a 37-year-old man – was taken to hospital by air ambulance with life changing injuries," said a police spokesperson.
"The road was closed while emergency services were at the scene, and was reopened by 12.40am.
"Please contact Dyfed-Powys Police if you were travelling along this road at the time of the collision and have dash-cam footage, or if you witnessed the collision or the vehicles involved travelling along the road."
