Body of woman discovered in River Severn

The body of a woman has been found in the River Severn at Caersws.

Police have said they do not believe her death is suspicious.

A statement from Dyfed Powys police said: "Dyfed-Powys Police was made aware the body of a woman had been discovered in a river in Caersws, Powys, at around 10am on 29 August, 2019.

"Her next of kin and HM Coroner have been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious."
