Newtown man wins top support worker award

A Newtown man has been named "Support Worker of the Year" in a national award.

John Land was shortlisted against 23 others in the Learning Disabilities and Autism Awards 2019.

John, who works for Eden Futures, was named the winner at an awards ceremony held at the ICC in Birmingham.

Dawn Berry, Eden Futures CEO, said: “We are honoured to have such dedicated professionals like John working with us, who is committed to helping individuals lead independent, fulfilling lives.”
