Plans underway for this year's Newtown Food Festival

Plans are well underway for this year's Newtown Food Festival which takes place on 7-8 September.

Organisers are understood to be confirming a range of events and entertainment over the two-day event that takes place on the Town Hall grounds and park area off Back Lane, as well as in the town centre.

Previous events have attracted thousands into the town, along with a range of food producers and companies, well-known chefs and others who have also provided demonstrations and entertainment.

The event will start at 10am each day with a full line up expected within the next few weeks.

The Newtown Food Festival Community Interest Company (NFFCIC) runs the Newtown Food Festival on contract from Newtown and Llanllwchaiarn Town Council.
