A chance to see behind the scenes at police station

Newtown Police are to host an open day next month, allowing visitors to see what goes on at the police station.

The day will include displays and demonstrations by Dyfed Powys Police officers and support staff, including scenes of crime, dog section, forearms, roads policing, custody tours and other activities.

The event takes place on Thursday, 1 August between 11am and 4pm at the police station in Park Lane.
