Thieves have broken into a vehicle parked at the Mochdre Industrial Estate in Newtown and stolen two grass strimmers.
Police said the Ford Ranger was parked in the layby close to the main roundabout into the estate when it was entered yesterday at 11.35am.
Thieves entered the rear of the pick-up truck and stole one Stihl grass strimmer before going into a trailer attached to it and stealing another large Stihl grass strimmer.
Anyone who might have seen anyone near the vehicle at the time is asked to contact PC Waye Clarke on 101, extension 23600.
