Bone health and osteoporosis will be the subject of an information event in Newtown on Friday.
According to The Royal Osteoporosis Society, one in two women and one in five men over 50 are expected to break a bone.
Many of these people will have osteoporosis and will not realise it; they may then go on to break another bone.
If you'd like to find out more about bone health and osteoporosis The Royal Osteoporosis Society are putting on a free information event in Newtown at Newtown Methodist Church, Back Lane, Newtown on Friday.
Light refreshments will be served from 2pm with the meeting starting at 2.30pm.
The speaker will be Debbie Stone who will give a presentation on osteoporosis and there will be opportunity to ask lots of questions. Free information leaflets will also be available to take away.
