Vandals have caused damage to a Newtown school’s garden.
The polytunnel was entered at Ysgol Cedewain over the weekend with damage caused to plants and equipment.
They said they will pursuing it with the police and have urged local residents to be vigilant and keep an eye on the school out of hours.
In a statement the school said: “Unfortunately, over the weekend, we have had some intruders on School site that have caused damage in and around our School polytunnel.
“Can you please be vigilant in the school area, and report any intruders to the police. We have CCTV on site, and we WILL pursue Police action against anyone who is on site, out of school hours, without permission. Please help us protect our school site, and report intruders immediately.”
