17/06/2019 @ 10:54

A project providing free help to people over 54 years of age into employment, self-employment and training is to host more drop-in events in the area.

Workways+ Powys will host the events at Newtown, Llanidloes and Llanfair Caereinion, as well as Welshpool and Llanfyllin.

“It’s open to people across Powys who are aged 54 and older and who are not currently working or registered unemployed who want help,” said Janet Davies.

Delivered by PRIME Cymru and funded by the European Social Fund and Powys County Council, the free support can include one-to-one help with on-line and traditional job-seeking, interview skills, CV writing, sourcing trial work placements, training, basic IT, voluntary work or guidance on setting-up in business.

To get involved contact the project Development Officer Janet on 07507 795048 to make an appointment or drop into one of the events below.
