A motorcyclist has died following an accident between Sarn and Churchstoke.
The motorcyclist died at the scene.
“Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the A489 between Sarn and Churchstoke at approximately 4.50pm on Tuesday 28th May 2019," said a Newtown police spokpesperson.
"The collision occurred outside the entrance to the Holy Trinity Church. The collision involved a silver Vauxhall Astra and a silver and black coloured Suzuki motorbike. Sadly, the rider of the motorbike passed away at the scene."
Anyone who saw these vehicles or was in the area and has dashcam footage is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference 249.
