The search is on for this year’s Llanfair Caereinion Carnival Queen.
The town’s carnival committee has begun the process with anyone interested asked to contact them via the carnival’s Facebook page or by texting Nicola Peate on 07890 892124.
“The Carnival Queen will preside over the Carnival which takes place on the 15 June. She will be attended by eight young attendants from local schools and will travel to the carnival on the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway.
“We are really looking forward to announcing the Carnival Queen in May,” said Nicola, Chair of the carnival committee.
